When winter arrives its time to have a nice knitted jumper. Knitting is a very popular craft and continues to be a favourite gift.
There are many books that can help you learn knitting techniques and styles. A visit to your local craft store would be a good contact point to find out on classes that may be held in your area.
A traditional starting point for many first time knitters is a basic scarf. This should enable you to see if you enjoy knitting and it is pretty hard to go wrong with a scarf.
